Every year the anniversary of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandma is always tough. It can open old wounds and rekindle memories that we haven’t thought about for a long time. The pain never fully goes away and is often at it's rawest on days like these. Today we celebrate Mama's life. An icon who spent her life extending a helping hand to people in need and united us all. She may be gone but her memory lives on.
